Skyshards are collectibles used to acquire skill points which are used for character progression in The Elder Scrolls: Online. Finding a skyshard grants the player one-third of a skill point, so for every three found, the player receives a full skill point which can be used towards improving a skill. These skyshards are scattered throughout Tamriel.
