Sentinel is both the name of a province in northwestern Hammerfell bordering Iliac Bay, and the name its capital. The land is sparsely populated due to its inhospitable climate and geography. It is bordered by the Alik'r Desert to the southeast. The city of Sentinel began as an outpost for the first Redguard colonists of Hammerfell.
