Mephala is the Daedric prince of murder, sex, and secrets. Mephala is also thought to be the anticipation of Vivec. Unlike many Daedric prince's who almost always appear as the same gender, Mephala appears as either male or female, depending on whom the prince wants to ensnare.
Mephala directly helped found the cult Morag Tong, who worshiped the prince until the second era when they were forced to change who they worshiped to Vivec or be banished. Due to this, the Dark Brotherhood was formed, who follow the Night Mother, who some believe to be another form of Mephala.
